#CleanSeasMovement

During our sailing journey from Denmark along the European coastline, one major issue stood out

- Large quantities of waste.

It's disheartening that amidst the multitude of fantastic experiences, this was a prevalent observation. Wherever our travels took us, water pollution presented itself as a pressing concern to varying degrees.

In Viana Do Castelo, this reality hit us particularly hard. At our harbor location, just across from the hospital ship Gil Eannes, we found ourselves collecting 2 to 3 bags of trash daily, often swept in with the tide. Transforming the task into a game, our children eagerly joined in picking up the debris, frequently commenting on the distressing volume of waste.

Now, we've embraced a personal mission: to always carry a trash bag during our waterfront walks and diligently clean up whatever we come across. It's a small yet meaningful contribution to our diverse array of experiences.

We'll be sharing snaps of the trash we collect, one bag at a time. Check it out to see the impact we're having, and feel free to join in by sharing your cleanup efforts using #CleanSeasMovement
