Captain and in charge of fixing the things that break. Mix magic in pots and pans to please the crew.

Before being a full time boat fixer and sailor, I worked within sales and marketing in different industries. 


My passions

Everything that has something with water to do - surfing, windsurfing, diving, spearfishing. 

Love fixing things that seems unfixable. 

When traveling -  culture, language and food are some of my biggest passions. There is almost nothing better than wandering around on local food markets and buying local specialties to throw in our pots and pans.

Job on the boat

Helmswoman, home schooling magician, ‘’Hygge*’’ master and goodness cook (bread, cakes, cookies and all that demands a recipe)

Job on land

I worked as a physiotherapist, with various expertise, for a decade before becoming a full-time sailor. 

My passions

I find peace and recharge my batteries in nature, and I especially enjoy walking, cycling, and running. In addition, I have previously taken a diving certificate when backpacking in various countries in Oceania, which I dream of using again.

I am a family person with a capital F, and I dream of passing on some of my fascination and curiosity for other cultures to my children, whether it concerns food, religion or traditions.

Our Family

We are a family of 5.

Mom Betina, Dad Patrick and our three kids Norah, Tristan, and Konrad.

Before 2019 neither of us had sailed. But we decided to try it out together as a family.

In 2023 our house in Aarhus, Denmark will be sold and from the end of May, we will set sail toward the Mediterranean sea.
