Welcome to one of Denmark’s most charming and tranquil anchorages

As you sail through the narrow passage, it may appear shallow, but rest assured, we managed to navigate with a meter of clearance under our keel (our boat draws 1.90 meters).

The anchorage provides a secure hold with a sandy/muddy bottom and plenty of space for boats to find a peaceful spot. Though, you might come across a few patches of seagrass, adding to the natural beauty of the place.

We eagerly awaited our first visit to Dyvig, and it did not disappoint. The surroundings were simply delightful and made the trip worthwhile.

Anchoring is free, but should you wish to avail yourself of the marina facilities, there are two options - Dyvig Harbor and Dyvig Bådlaug.

However, during our stay, we did experience a small hiccup. Some young boys were playfully zipping around in their RIB boats, using the anchored boats as an obstacle course. It led to a few close calls with incoming and outgoing boats, making some kayakers visibly nervous as they paddled across the bay. We had to notify the harbor master at Dyvig Harbor, who, unfortunately, didn't seem too keen on intervening, claiming that it had always been this way in Dyvig.
