Mårup Harbour

Experience the Charm of Mårup - Your accesspoint to the northern part of Samsø
Mårup Harbor is of the smaller kind. The entrance is through a well-marked fairway, providing access to the cozy harbor. The inner harbor has limited space, and during the peak season, it can be quite challenging to get in. If your boat is significantly larger than 42 feet (our size), maneuvering inside without a bow thruster can be difficult, especially if the wind exceeds 5-7 meters per second (15 knots).
However, once inside, the harbor offers very calm waters, and it is well-protected from the winds. The rest of the harbor consists of floating docks attached to piles.
The harbor is located right next to a beautiful sandy beach. However, the water depth increases rapidly, so it might not be suitable for very young children.
The facilities at the harbor are modest but adequate, and there is easy access to shopping options if you're willing to walk about 1.5 km to Mårup town.
Outside Mårup Harbor, there are also excellent anchoring opportunities. The seabed on the west side of the harbor beach has a good holding in sandy ground, providing good shelter from north to northeast winds.
